The referee ignored Jesús Pobre AFC's protests and gave Xacobo Otero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jesús Pobre AFC's Xacobo Otero got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Zavier Gene shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rigoberto Bajo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th match minute, Jesús Pobre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tancredo Gomar to maneuver through the defense. Hanni Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rigoberto Bajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tancredo Gomar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Rallo having to make a save. 25 minutes into the game, James Morales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cepeda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jesús Pobre AFC the free kick. A collision led to Cepeda getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. James Morales hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jesús Pobre AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Erosa came free, but Rigoberto Bajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hanni Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cepeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanni Diaz couldn't finish the play. Lia Cartagena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jeremias Rallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lia Cartagena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jeremias Rallo made a huge save. Jeremias Rallo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jesús Pobre AFC's Plauto Morcego shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Plauto Morcego in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Rallo saved Cepeda from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Jesús Pobre AFC's zone, Frances Erosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Bajo came out of the goal and Frances Erosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Bajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Millano Acosta in the 84th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Cepeda got a freekick which was hit by Munio Gonzalvez. Jeremias Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Plauto Morcego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plauto Morcego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Jesús Pobre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xacobo Otero to maneuver through the defense. Frances Erosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Bajo made a huge save. Lia Cartagena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesús Pobre AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
