Fidel Cerreri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xepe Palanques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Madrid AFC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Madrid AFC's Ximeno Calatayud looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Fabián Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fe Treviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Cerreri in the 29th minute of play. Fabián Orbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Aguilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Verdaguer kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ximeno Calatayud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the La Miralba AD defense, Ximeno Calatayud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofronio Morientes. The La Miralba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofronio Morientes should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Cerreri was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Madrid AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Cerreri came free, but Fe Treviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Fabián Orbiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofronio Morientes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Fabián Orbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofronio Morientes having to interfere. Madrid AFC's Fe Treviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Verdaguer in the 66th minute of play. Fabián Orbiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sofronio Morientes made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, La Miralba AD's Fidel Cerreri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fe Treviño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Fabián Orbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sofronio Morientes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Aguilo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Aguilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Miralba AD getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Thiago Aguilo hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Ximeno Calatayud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofronio Morientes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xepe Palanques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Madrid AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabián Orbiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
