An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Casillas in the 6th minute of play forced Campodón FC's goalkeeper Honorio Maestro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Fernandez in the 7th minute of play forced Cortijillos's goalkeeper Indar Aguilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Campodón FC's Pepe Fernandez in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Puig got free with Honorio Maestro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cortijillos's Manolo Casillas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Puigs short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Honorio Maestro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Montiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Indar Aguilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Montiel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cortijillos's Indar Aguilo. Indar Aguilo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manolo Casillas was the one to do the kick off. Honorio Maestro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Leo Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Honorio Maestro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ioseba Uria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, Campodón FC's Pepe Fernandez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Indar Aguilo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Campodón FC's Honorio Maestro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Puig in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Dalmacio Montiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campodón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Montiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mino Fresnos fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortijillos's protests and gave Mino Fresnos a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 minutes of play Cortijillos's Mino Fresnos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cortijillos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mino Fresnos hit a great ball. Dalmacio Montiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Indar Aguilo having to interfere. Dalmacio Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Indar Aguilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Maestro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Puig in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Cortijillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioseba Uria to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Montiel got free with Indar Aguilo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Campodón FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
