When Aranjuez FC's Ignacio Rivera in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taraguilla FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Taraguilla FC booed when Aranjuez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Villar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aranjuez FC's Dabi Encina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Aranjuez FC from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Serafo Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cutberto Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Carmona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dabi Encina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aranjuez FC's Serafo Molina got a free kick in the 13th minute. A hard shot by Jaume Sarrate from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Dabi Encina's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Teo Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dabi Encina having to interfere. Charro Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bardo Casado in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Aranjuez FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ignacio Rivera hit a great ball. When Bardo Casado came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Aranjuez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bardo Casado couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cutberto Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taraguilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cutberto Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dabi Encina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dabi Encina having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Rivera made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cutberto Montes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dabi Encina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Taraguilla FC's Lordi Palencia got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Aranjuez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Carmona came free, but Dabi Encina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aranjuez FC's Bardo Casado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Taraguilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Rivera came free, but Charro Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Villar's late challenge caught a Taraguilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Villar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aranjuez FC booed when Taraguilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in Taraguilla FC's zone, Bardo Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charro Santiago came out of the goal and Bardo Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Rivera in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charro Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo Carmona took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dabi Encina. Dabi Encina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After having played for 86 minutes, Cutberto Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taraguilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cutberto Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cutberto Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taraguilla FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aranjuez FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
