An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Zaplana in the 32nd minute of play forced Sorvilan CF's goalkeeper Sabino Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabino Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Zaplana, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Sorvilan CF defense, Anastasio Zaplana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sabino Arias. The Sorvilan CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabino Arias should have stopped the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Bienvenido Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sant Feliu De Llobregat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bienvenido Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alano Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorvilan CF's protests and gave Alano Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half Sorvilan CF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anastasio Zaplana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabino Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play.
