Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cirino Tormes made the kick off and thus started the match. Ismael Mera kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Puig in the 7th minute of play forced Alhama De Almeria's goalkeeper Santana Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Juan Jauregui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alhama De Almeria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrevieja the free kick. Juan Jauregui hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Denis Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santana Cordoba having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alhama De Almeria's zone, Thiago Galego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santana Cordoba came out of the goal and Thiago Galego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Alhama De Almeria's Goyo Olle threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cirino Tormes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Torrevieja's Denis Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Thiago Galego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alhama De Almeria's Santana Cordoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Denis Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Thiago Galego notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alhama De Almeria's Santana Cordoba. Santana Cordoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Torrevieja's Thiago Galego in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alhama De Almeria's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Alhama De Almeria getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nikola Reina hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Denis Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrevieja's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santana Cordoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alhama De Almeria's Santana Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Galego in the 41st minute of play. Alhama De Almeria's Cirino Tormes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Galego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Alhama De Almeria's goalkeeper Santana Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Ecija. Thiago Galego struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Santana Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrevieja. In the 57th minute, Thiago Galego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirino Tormes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Goyo Olle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alhama De Almeria. After 66 played minutes Torrevieja got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Ecija. 67 minutes into the match, Alhama De Almeria's Aresti Urbieta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 70th minute of the match, Thiago Galego tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santana Cordoba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pepe Noya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Goyo Olle having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pepe Noya in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goyo Olle saved Torrevieja from getting behind. Paul De Pedro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirino Tormes in the 81st minute of play forced Torrevieja's goalkeeper Goyo Olle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Alhama De Almeria's Cirino Tormes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Goyo Olle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santana Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Thiago Galego in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 92 minutes into the game, Lano Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alhama De Almeria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrevieja the free kick. 91 minutes into the game, one of Alhama De Almeria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pepe Noya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
