Plauto Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roi Valines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Roi Valines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Plauto Zapico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henric Revuelta in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blai Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Roi Valines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Luriezo SD's protests and gave Atilio Cacheres a yellow card for diving instead. The long shot by Saverio Zárate in the 32nd minute really tested Blai Herrera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 34th minute, Henric Revuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Luriezo SD's Nestor Ruiz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Plauto Zapico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henric Revuelta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Blai Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Luriezo SD's Blai Herrera got control of the ball when Jose-Luis Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roi Valines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Eberardo Quintas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luriezo SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goikolexea SD the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dabi Bacete during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59thth minute of the game Henric Revuelta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luriezo SD's Blai Herrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blai Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Revuelta in the 61st minute of play. Luriezo SD's Nestor Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henric Revuelta might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blai Herrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henric Revuelta ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 minutes, Roi Valines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luriezo SD and the Goikolexea SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Luriezo SD's Roi Valines got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jose-Luis Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blai Herrera having to make a save. Plauto Zapico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roi Valines, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Henric Revuelta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes of play, Luriezo SD's Nestor Ruiz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Plauto Zapico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roi Valines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Plauto Zapico having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Luriezo SD's Roi Valines in the 96th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Plauto Zapico was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Goikolexea SD through an amazing save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Luriezo SD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
