In the 33rd match minute, Luriezo SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Camino to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roi Valines to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Taurino Diaz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blai Herrera. The goal made the score 0-1. Benedicto Camino didn't quite understand what happened when in the 57 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 59 minutes into the game, Luriezo SD's Nestor Ruiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 65th minute, Roi Valines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Nestor Ruiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luriezo SD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rodolfo Fuente hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Benedicto Camino, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Taurino Diaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blai Herrera, 2-2. In the 81st minute, Reimundo Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urdin Sarrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the game, Taurino Diaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blai Herrera. Taurino Diaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Asun's Dante Soler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Ruiz in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Urdin Sarrate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Luriezo SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eberardo Quintas to maneuver through the defense. The Asun supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asun would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
