Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Montez Encina kicked off to start the match. Ruperto Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Silva having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Riells AFC's Berriotxoa Ucero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Ruperto Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gamiz's Benjamin Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Machado in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Silva saved Gamiz from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Gamiz's Montez Encina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kepa Valdivia. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. After 17 played minutes Gamiz got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Riells. Adolfo Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kepa Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montes Pedriza kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Gamiz's Benjamin Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berriotxoa Ucero in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Adolfo Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gamiz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Mora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kepa Valdivia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Montez Encina came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gamiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montez Encina couldn't finish the play. If Berriotxoa Ucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gamiz's zone, Ruperto Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Silva came out of the goal and Ruperto Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Adolfo Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gamiz's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kepa Valdivia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Machado to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Riells AFC's Berriotxoa Ucero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Silva was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Xines Nobo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gamiz's protests and gave Xines Nobo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Riells AFC booed when Gamiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xines Nobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kepa Valdivia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Montez Encina, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Montez Encina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Valdivia having to interfere. Lluis Abellan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lluis Abellan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Riells AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Kepa Valdivia had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Martino Canal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Gamiz's Martino Canal after 68 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Riells AFC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-2. When Adolfo Mora came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Gamiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Mora couldn't finish the play. Kepa Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Montez Encina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berriotxoa Ucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Silva having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gamiz's Fix Pais got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 87th match minute, Gamiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Soto to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Berriotxoa Ucero put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Benjamin Silva. In the 94th minute, Patxi Quintanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Riells AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
