The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fea's Gabriel Maldonado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Fea from getting a goal against them. When Guaberto Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Fea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Mendez couldn't finish the play. Gaizka Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Indar Zapico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llin Rosario having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Dimas Echavarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Indar Zapico scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Llin Rosario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Romeo Guijarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Maldonado made a huge save. Llin Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indar Zapico in the 25th minute of play. Mar De Cristal FC's Reinaldo Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llin Rosario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Mendez in the 29th minute of the match. Guaberto Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Llin Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Indar Zapico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llin Rosario having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Mar De Cristal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Mendez came free, but Llin Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Guaberto Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fea's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Mendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llin Rosario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Marques got free with Gabriel Maldonado in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Maldonado having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Zubizarreta to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Fea's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Zubizarreta came free, but Gabriel Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Maldonado came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mar De Cristal FC's Reinaldo Marques. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Llin Rosario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Mendez in the 58th minute. Reinaldo Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gabriel Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mar De Cristal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a little luck, Mar De Cristal FC's Llin Rosario got control of the ball when Guaberto Mendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Indar Zapico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
