Albi Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Alonso Serrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Sampil in the 12th minute of the match. Tolino Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Godfredo Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Albiztur defense, Xabier Novo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Cruz. The Albiztur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Cruz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pontills CD booed when Albiztur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larpe Arraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolino Villanueva hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Albiztur's Gai Bargas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pontills CD. In the 30th minute, Araoz Guijarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Costante Sampil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Albiztur's Bertin Bermudez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Joselito Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Albiztur got a corner. Pontills CD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gai Bargas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nayely Fuente made a great header on Albiztur's corner, it was just that Pontills CD's Alonso Serrano managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xabier Novo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pontills CD's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Justo came free, but Alonso Serrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabier Novo in the 59th minute of play forced Albiztur's goalkeeper Godfredo Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Albiztur booed when Pontills CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Araoz Guijarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Albiztur's Sagrario Reyes got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, one of Albiztur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Albiztur. Tolino Villanueva kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Cris Justo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xabier Novo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Godfredo Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontills CD. After a defensive mix-up in Albiztur's zone, Xabier Novo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Cruz came out of the goal and Xabier Novo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pontills CD booed when Albiztur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sagrario Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oier Gibert got free with Godfredo Cruz in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 98 minutes into the game, Oier Gibert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Godfredo Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Pontills CD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pontills CD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
