Jungitu's Valdo Pabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Otero in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Juan Santiago made a precise shot to the right of Elivareo Prats. Ventas Nuevas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Simon Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Juan Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martín Irureta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Armando Otero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Martín Irureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Valdo Pabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Jungitu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martín Irureta to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ventas Nuevas FC's zone, Juan Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivareo Prats came out of the goal and Juan Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elivareo Prats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Gabri Gasso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 75th of the match, Simon Acedo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Elivareo Prats got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 88thth minute of the game Martín Irureta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jungitu's Valdo Pabon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Jungitu's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Otero came free, but Valdo Pabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ventas Nuevas FC's Armando Otero got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jungitu's Juan Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jungitu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
