Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Auderico Navarro got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Gerb's Gilabert Santiago got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Arnalt Galego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gonzalez in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garin Fuster during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Gerb got a freekick which was hit by Garin Fuster. Gelacio Rua hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Arnalt Galego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcos Flores made a huge save. After having played for 18 minutes, Benito Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geremia Lacorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Avila having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Margarita's Benito Gonzalez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Flores. Marcos Flores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Geremia Lacorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Avila having to interfere. Marcos Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gonzalez in the 36th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Arnalt Galego got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benito Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcos Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Gerb got a freekick which was hit by Gilabert Santiago. If Pancracio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gerb getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gelacio Rua hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Gonzalez was the one to do the kick off. Arnalt Galego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerb's Auderico Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pancracio Machado's late challenge caught a Gerb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pancracio Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Benito Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Flores having to interfere. Marcos Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelacio Rua kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Benito Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Marcos Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margarita. Lorien Etxeberria hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Benito Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Gonzalez in the 85th minute of play forced Gerb's goalkeeper Marcos Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Auderico Navarro in the 98th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Ezequiel Avila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Margarita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
