A collision led to Zuaztoi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sofronio Aizpurua hit a great ball. Toro Alcalde's late challenge caught a Motril AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toro Alcalde helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zuaztoi's Toro Alcalde got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Licerio Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Etxave Incera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bao Rallo having to interfere. When Zuaztoi's Etxave Incera in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motril AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Motril AFC's Licerio Orozco got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Licerio Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Vega having to interfere. Chus Zapico hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Motril AFC's Bao Rallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Alcalde in the 37th minute of play. Toro Alcalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Etxave Incera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bao Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Etxave Incera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Etxave Incera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuaztoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Etxave Incera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bao Rallo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Motril AFC's Eder Abellan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Etxave Incera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bao Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etxave Incera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bao Rallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Licerio Orozco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motril AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuaztoi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Motril AFC's Licerio Orozco got a free kick in the 75th minute. Eli Vega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Licerio Orozco went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Etxave Incera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bao Rallo. The goal made the score 2-1. Bao Rallo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Toro Alcalde sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Motril AFC had won after a very even match.
