In the 16th minute Berriotxoa Valines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pudes Sevilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Escobar's late challenge caught a Jalón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Escobar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jalón booed when Vilablareix AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Xantalen Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Sergio Saez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jalón's Arcadio Lacorte got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Montes Blazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes in the game, Marco Escobar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xantalen Abajas having to interfere. When Arcadio Lacorte fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jalón's protests and gave Arcadio Lacorte a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Jalón got a freekick which was hit by Arcadio Lacorte. Marco Escobar struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Xantalen Abajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilablareix AFC. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vilablareix AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hernán Guasch was slow to take the kick. During this time Jalón's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Escobar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Olivar Verdu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jalón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivar Verdu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Escobar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xantalen Abajas having to make a save. Olivar Verdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vilablareix AFC's zone, Olivar Verdu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pudes Sevilla came out of the goal and Olivar Verdu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olivar Verdu struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pudes Sevilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jalón. In the 69th minute, Montes Blazquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aniceto Bacete hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Jalón's Hernán Guasch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 99th minute, Olivar Verdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Jalón players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
