An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Clos in the 5th minute of play forced Abrera CF's goalkeeper Thomas Marrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Abrera CF's Freddy Huerta got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thomas Marrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Clos went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thomas Marrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Clos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Clos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felix Clos fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Higuera De Arjona FC's protests and gave Felix Clos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Higuera De Arjona FC's Felix Clos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Thomas Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Clos in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Abrera CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alatz Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Abrera CF's Thomas Marrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Clos in the 25th minute of play. Neron Clos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thomas Marrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Clos's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Saul Amer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose-Antonio Herrero. The goal made the score 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Abrera CF's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Clos came free, but Thomas Marrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Clos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romano Planes in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Marrero saved Abrera CF from getting behind. Garaile Ruiz charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garaile Ruiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Huerta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jose-Antonio Herrero made a huge save. After having played for 46 minutes, Romano Planes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuera De Arjona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romano Planes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Amer to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Higuera De Arjona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Amer came free, but Jose-Antonio Herrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Marrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romano Planes in the 58th minute. Romano Planes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ricardo Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abrera CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose-Antonio Herrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Saul Amer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose-Antonio Herrero. Higuera De Arjona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Amer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Haroldo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thomas Marrero made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Felix Clos sent off a good shot on target. Jose-Antonio Herrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romano Planes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Marrero having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Higuera De Arjona FC's Romano Planes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Marrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Abrera CF's goal looked a bit too open when Romano Planes came free, but Thomas Marrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Abrera CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Higuera De Arjona FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
