Albino Adán kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Jerrold Babia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakes Andres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubí's Jakes Andres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claris Litago in the 7th minute of play. Geofredo Losantos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Fe De Silva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Claris Litago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claris Litago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakes Andres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Babia in the 23rd minute of play forced Rubí's goalkeeper Jakes Andres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xosepin Vilanova during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Iboyo CF's Claris Litago in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rubí's goalie prevented a goal. Kiko Madariaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Quevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Iboyo CF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fe De Silva hit a great ball. Ladislao Quevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kiko Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iboyo CF's Kiko Madariaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Planes in the 67th minute of play. Kiko Madariaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Planes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerrold Babia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ladislao Quevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rubí supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Iboyo CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Iboyo CF.
