The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Planes got free with Herodes Esperta in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 played minutes, Moraleja De Enmedio FC's Tebaldo Novo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jakes Andres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moraleja De Enmedio FC reached it. Celestino Planes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Herodes Esperta made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Rubí's Ladislao Quevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herodes Esperta. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xosepin Acosta in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakes Andres saved Rubí from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Isaio Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Andoni Carceles fired a really elegant long shot, but Herodes Esperta threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When Moraleja De Enmedio FC's Xosepin Acosta in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Celestino Planes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herodes Esperta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Celestino Planes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herodes Esperta having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Quevedo made a kick off. If Ladislao Quevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jakes Andres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepin Acosta in the 54th minute of play. Cordarell Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jakes Andres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Rubí got a freekick which was hit by Loren Castaño. Cordarell Diaz in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jakes Andres, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Loren Castaño kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jakes Andres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cordarell Diaz in the 66th minute. When Ladislao Quevedo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rubí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Quevedo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Celestino Planes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubí's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Planes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herodes Esperta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herodes Esperta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Quevedo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Isaio Ortiz's late challenge caught a Rubí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaio Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moraleja De Enmedio FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Isaio Ortiz hit a great ball. If Celestino Planes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Rubí defense, Cordarell Diaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakes Andres. The Rubí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakes Andres should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Quevedo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herodes Esperta saved Moraleja De Enmedio FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Ladislao Quevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rubí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Moraleja De Enmedio FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rubí.
