The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Iosu Contreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sunbilla's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Indar Mendez 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Alabern got free with Barea Iglesias in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florencio Cao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baleren Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tonete Quijana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baleren Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Baleren Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonete Quijana in the 24th minute of the match. Celestino Nueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Barea Iglesias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Artesa De Lleida FC's Yago Quintero tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Sunbilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximeno Darroja to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Indar Mendez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 41 minutes into the match, Sunbilla's goalkeeper Barea Iglesias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Nueva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indar Mendez in the 43rd minute of play forced Sunbilla's goalkeeper Barea Iglesias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sunbilla's Barea Iglesias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sunbilla from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Artesa De Lleida FC's Indar Mendez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The wind increased when Tonete Quijana made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Yago Quintero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artesa De Lleida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunbilla the free kick. 62 minutes into the game, Indar Mendez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Barea Iglesias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Artesa De Lleida FC's Elisardo Dobale got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tonete Quijana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 73 in the game by Iosu Contreras from a close distance when the talented Baleren Maldonado managed to make a qualified save. Artesa De Lleida FC's players were relieved. After 75 minutes, Florencio Cao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunbilla and the Artesa De Lleida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Sunbilla got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Cao. Celestino Nueva struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Barea Iglesias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artesa De Lleida FC. When Iosu Contreras came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sunbilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosu Contreras couldn't finish the play. Tonete Quijana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baleren Maldonado having to interfere. Baleren Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonete Quijana in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Iosu Contreras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sunbilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Artesa De Lleida FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sunbilla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
