Loren Acarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otero Sarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th match minute, Sant Feliu De Pallerolls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahar Saez to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Coya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julián Contratas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Ripollet's Fe Reina got a free kick in the 28th minute. Teodoro Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belarmino Bueno in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Zahar Saez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sant Feliu De Pallerolls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zahar Saez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ripollet getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alfonso Molina hit a great ball. Sant Feliu De Pallerolls's Eneas Etxeberria couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ripollet. After a rather tough play, Ripollet's Etxave Saboya got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Julián Contratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Ripollet got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Molina. When Belarmino Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Sant Feliu De Pallerolls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belarmino Bueno couldn't finish the play. Julián Contratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Feliu De Pallerolls's zone, Sabino Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loren Acarreta came out of the goal and Sabino Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Otero Sarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodoro Coya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belarmino Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Zahar Saez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Sant Feliu De Pallerolls got a freekick which was hit by Zahar Saez. If Julián Contratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Otero Sarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Acarreta having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Zahar Saez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Coya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zahar Saez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sant Feliu De Pallerolls fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ripollet had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
