But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telo Vacas couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Castellçiutat AFC defense, Pedro Avila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melkor Mera. The Castellçiutat AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melkor Mera should have stopped the shot. When Puente De Genave CD's Dolfo Sans in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castellçiutat AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Sancho Sierra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Felipe Belalcaraz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telo Vacas in the 29th minute of play forced Puente De Genave CD's goalkeeper Felipe Belalcaraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pedro Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puente De Genave CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Avila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melkor Mera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Castellçiutat AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kemen Roig. Melkor Mera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Avila, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sancho Sierra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Felipe Belalcaraz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Telo Vacas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sancho Sierra struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Felipe Belalcaraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castellçiutat AFC. 47 minutes into the game, one of Puente De Genave CD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Castellçiutat AFC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nel Roca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puente De Genave CD's Felipe Belalcaraz. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dolfo Sans made a kick off. Felipe Belalcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telo Vacas in the 55th minute of play. Felipe Belalcaraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telo Vacas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Telo Vacas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Belalcaraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telo Vacas in the 66th minute of the match. Sancho Sierra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Dolfo Sans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente De Genave CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolfo Sans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telo Vacas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Felipe Belalcaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Castellçiutat AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lluis Griego to maneuver through the defense. Castellçiutat AFC's Melkor Mera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Castellçiutat AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Puente De Genave CD's zone, Sancho Sierra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Belalcaraz came out of the goal and Sancho Sierra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telo Vacas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Felipe Belalcaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Puente De Genave CD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
