Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lia Zabalo sped through Alen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xurdin Castellano. If Dolfos Castellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Asteri Beloki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dolfos Castellano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Xurdin Castellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dolfos Castellano made a kick off. Horacio Aizpurua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Reina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Asteri Beloki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dolfos Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurdin Castellano having to interfere. A collision led to Alen getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Otero Canal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alen's zone, Hernán Rodriguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurdin Castellano came out of the goal and Hernán Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Aizpurua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asteri Beloki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asteri Beloki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Horacio Aizpurua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bordelle getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Laurin Fernandez hit a great ball. Asteri Beloki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Reina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When Tadeo Beloki fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alen's protests and gave Tadeo Beloki a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alen's Tadeo Beloki got a free kick in the 90th minute. Bordelle's Hernán Rodriguez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alen. Lia Zabalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bordelle's zone, Horacio Aizpurua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Reina came out of the goal and Horacio Aizpurua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bordelle's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
