Pau Zafrilla kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Erols's Baudelio Llorente broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Urko Izaguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urko Izaguirre in the 21st minute of play forced Valdeancheta's goalkeeper Lalla Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erols's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 36th minute, Urko Izaguirre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lalla Ortiz, passed just outside the right post. Valdeancheta's Lalla Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urko Izaguirre in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valdeancheta's Andrea Aguilar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Losada during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregorio Losada hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urko Izaguirre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
