After 5 played minutes Mata FC got a freekick which was hit by Cucao Merino. Dilar's Tomualdo Sancho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Koldo Rivas but with some difficulty. Mata FC's Koldo Rivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Mata FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Dilar getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Apolinar Herrero hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Dilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boniel Feal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nesto Santos got free with Koldo Rivas in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Koldo Rivas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nesto Santos in the 30th minute. Turi Labarra kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Nesto Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Koldo Rivas. Mata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nesto Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Dilar's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Fernandez came free, but Leopoldo Mas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vito Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dilar's goalkeeper Leopoldo Mas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes in the game, Iyan Canturri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Koldo Rivas having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Dilar's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Cardeñosa came free, but Leopoldo Mas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolinar Herrero hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Mas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Nesto Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Koldo Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dilar's Atauri Jimenez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Vito Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Cardeñosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arsenio Cardeñosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dilar's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vito Fernandez 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Arsenio Cardeñosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Leopoldo Mas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Dilar's Iyan Canturri in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mata FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iyan Canturri in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Koldo Rivas saved Mata FC from getting behind. In the 70th minute Iyan Canturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koldo Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nesto Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nesto Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koldo Rivas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nesto Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nesto Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boniel Feal hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
