The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Fernandez in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meder Roig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Mata FC's Vito Fernandez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Meder Roig. Meder Roig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Arsenio Cardeñosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Cardeñosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meder Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Cardeñosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meder Roig having to interfere. Unai Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldo Rivas having to interfere. When Ovando Perpiñán came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cabo De Palos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovando Perpiñán couldn't finish the play. Cucao Merino kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Ovando Perpiñán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koldo Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Mata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turi Labarra to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the game, Unai Bueno landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 48th minute, Turi Labarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cabo De Palos FC's Gero Redondo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mata FC.

Oswaldo Casillas tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Koldo Rivas. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 54th minute. Julio Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldo Rivas having to interfere. When Cabo De Palos FC's Ovando Perpiñán in 59 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Koldo Rivas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Sindo Batuecas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Meder Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Fernandez in the 63rd minute of play. If Ovando Perpiñán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mata FC's goalkeeper Koldo Rivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Romano Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meder Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vito Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meder Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Meder Roig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Mata FC's Vito Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meder Roig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Domenech Escurza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Vito Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cucao Merino took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meder Roig. Meder Roig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mata FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
