Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cebo Varela got the match started through his kick off. Rodas Elguero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Zaplana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodas Elguero in the 5th minute of play. Rodas Elguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Edmundo Zaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Mahoya CF's Kiko Jaen in action when he in the 15th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some careless play in the Morillo De Monclus CF defense, Josu Murcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nacho Lorenzo. The Morillo De Monclus CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nacho Lorenzo should have stopped the shot. Cebo Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Lorenzo having to interfere. Nacho Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cebo Varela in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cebo Varela in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nacho Lorenzo saved Morillo De Monclus CF from getting behind. If Josu Murcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Mahoya CF got a freekick which was hit by Landolfo Cabanela. Nacho Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cebo Varela in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodas Elguero to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cebo Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Mahoya CF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kiko Jaen hit a great ball. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Morillo De Monclus CF's Lucio Pantoja fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Hector Aznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Zaplana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodas Elguero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Lucio Pantoja made a precise shot to the right of Edmundo Zaplana. Mahoya CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nacho Lorenzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cebo Varela's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Lucio Pantoja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Zaplana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Pantoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Edmundo Zaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mahoya CF's Josu Murcia got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodas Elguero in the 89th minute of play forced Mahoya CF's goalkeeper Edmundo Zaplana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morillo De Monclus CF's Nacho Lorenzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Morillo De Monclus CF from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mahoya CF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
