Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ciriaco Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Navarro having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Juan Candela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ramón Taules fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Saler's protests and gave Ramón Taules a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Saler getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ramón Taules hit a great ball. The supporters of El Saler booed when Beniarbeig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekialde Losada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes El Saler got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Zapata. El Saler's Goyo Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Morales in the 13th minute of play. Orlando Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Cordareo Jaraba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, El Saler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boniel Sevilla to maneuver through the defense. When Ciriaco Morales came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Beniarbeig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Morales couldn't finish the play. When Beniarbeig's Rodolfo Jimenez in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Saler's goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo Jimenez spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of El Saler's goal. After some careless play in the Beniarbeig defense, Loren Torrente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Clos. The Beniarbeig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Clos should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordareo Jaraba was the one to do the kick off. Goyo Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ekialde Losada. Natanael Reyes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Juan Candela took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Goyo Navarro. Goyo Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Silverio Clos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordareo Jaraba in the 80th minute of the match. Cordareo Jaraba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Clos having to interfere. In the 96th minute Cordareo Jaraba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Clos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
