With a little luck, Embun's Mambru Carrasco got control of the ball when Godofredo Borrás tried to sneak it across the goal line. Las Veras's Tohias Caballero got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Las Veras's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Torrent came free, but Hondo Cano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hondo Cano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Torrent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Florentino Torrent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embun's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Torrent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hondo Cano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fertus España recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Las Veras getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Charro Ziguenza hit a great ball. Godofredo Borrás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xofre Quintana hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, Las Veras's Zernin Marcos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mambru Carrasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Las Veras reached it. Florentino Torrent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hondo Cano having to interfere. A collision led to Las Veras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Charro Ziguenza hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Barros Salazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Veras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Embun the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Las Veras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barros Salazar to maneuver through the defense. Hondo Cano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fertus España, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fertus España blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hondo Cano having to make a save. Fertus España received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Hondo Cano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tohias Caballero was the one to do the kick off. Las Veras were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Embun's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan-Luis Gonzalez took the corner. The corner ended in Juan-Luis Gonzalez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Embun's Mambru Carrasco did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Torrent in the 62nd minute of play forced Las Veras's goalkeeper Hondo Cano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 63 in the game by Fertus España from a close distance when the talented Hondo Cano managed to make a qualified save. Las Veras's players were relieved. Florentino Torrent might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hondo Cano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Torrent ran back to his position shaking his head. If Godofredo Borrás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Xofre Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embun's supporters rose to their feet, but Xofre Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hondo Cano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Florentino Torrent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Embun left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Las Veras.
