The crowd rose to their feet as Aeropuerto De Valencia's Emilio Ortiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raymundo Manzano. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Meder Doblas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aeropuerto De Valencia! The referee gave El Algar FC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Cruz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aeropuerto De Valencia's Placido Ucero. 1-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Zadornin Zubiaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aeropuerto De Valencia's Placido Ucero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Casillas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Placido Ucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Casillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liberto Lermo during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Aeropuerto De Valencia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aeropuerto De Valencia's goalkeeper Placido Ucero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Casillas made a kick off. El Algar FC's Victor Casillas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Indartsu Folch was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Aeropuerto De Valencia booed when El Algar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Indartsu Folch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ofelio Viqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Nieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymundo Manzano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ofelio Viqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raymundo Manzano was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The supporters of El Algar FC booed when Aeropuerto De Valencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inko España didn't get a good kick on the ball. The El Algar FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aeropuerto De Valencia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
