Hanot Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Labarra having to interfere. Berbiz Jauregui received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelino Labarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Berbiz Jauregui slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Orlan Casanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Sánchez having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Buera FC's Chayo Navarro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelino Labarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berbiz Jauregui in the 21st minute of play. Hanot Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berbiz Jauregui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marcelino Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaizka Zapico hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Chayo Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Orti Mangas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebolledo FC the free kick. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buera FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Berbiz Jauregui in the 43rd minute of play forced Buera FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlan Casanova to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berbiz Jauregui in the 52nd minute of play forced Buera FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hanot Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcelino Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buera FC's Marcelino Labarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berbiz Jauregui in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Buera FC's zone, Berbiz Jauregui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Labarra came out of the goal and Berbiz Jauregui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Hanot Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Labarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tello Olmedo's late challenge caught a Rebolledo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tello Olmedo helped the player get up and apologised. If Hanot Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Hanot Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebolledo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hanot Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Labarra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Rebolledo FC's Hanot Fuentes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelino Labarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Rebolledo FC's Dario Sánchez got control of the ball when Gaizka Zapico tried to sneak it across the goal line.
