Rebolledo FC's Dario Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauren Marcos in the 5th minute of play. Hanot Fuentes might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Abasalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hanot Fuentes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mendebal Casado's late challenge caught a Rebolledo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mendebal Casado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Mendebal Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Hanot Fuentes could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Ismael Abasalo however easily saved by the left post. Lauren Marcos struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dario Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeria AD. Berbiz Jauregui received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ismael Abasalo came out and tried to block the shot, but Berbiz Jauregui slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Hanot Fuentes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hanot Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Berbiz Jauregui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebolledo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berbiz Jauregui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Abasalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeria AD's goalkeeper Ismael Abasalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dario Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauren Marcos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Almeria AD's Eli Barro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Domenico Losantos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Lauren Marcos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egoi Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dario Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berbiz Jauregui to make the kick off. Ismael Abasalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hanot Fuentes's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Berbiz Jauregui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ismael Abasalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berbiz Jauregui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rebolledo FC's Quinto Espinosa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauren Marcos might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Sánchez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauren Marcos ran back to his position shaking his head. When Berbiz Jauregui came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Rebolledo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berbiz Jauregui couldn't finish the play. Hanot Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeria AD's goalkeeper Ismael Abasalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Lauren Marcos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Quinto Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benvide Lagunas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Rebolledo FC's goalkeeper Dario Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egoi Diaz. Lauren Marcos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Sánchez having to make a save.
