Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Helguera got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Montes De San Benito's zone, Antonio Helguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamberto Valdivia came out of the goal and Antonio Helguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolino Aceves hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Lamberto Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlantz De Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Montes De San Benito defense, Antonio Helguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lamberto Valdivia. The Montes De San Benito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lamberto Valdivia should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Xamo Rapado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mareny Blau UD's Carlo Carceles. Carlo Carceles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erlantz De Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamberto Valdivia having to interfere. When Xamo Rapado came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Montes De San Benito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xamo Rapado couldn't finish the play. Lander Cortes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Carlo Carceles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mareny Blau UD's Nalo Iglesias got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Montes De San Benito's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz De Toro came free, but Lamberto Valdivia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, one of Mareny Blau UD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mareny Blau UD. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Montes De San Benito. Idacio Babia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlo Carceles. 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lander Cortes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Erlantz De Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nalo Iglesias struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Lamberto Valdivia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mareny Blau UD. After 70 played minutes Mareny Blau UD got a freekick which was hit by Nalo Iglesias. Montes De San Benito's Elivareo Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Mareny Blau UD's goal looked a bit too open when Lander Cortes came free, but Carlo Carceles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
