Simon Soldado made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Alfronso Marin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Zizurkil getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ugutz Quintanilla hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Murueta's Alfronso Marin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Soldado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alanzo Pacheco in the 32nd minute of play forced Murueta's goalkeeper David Unzueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peli Marquez in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Soldado saved Zizurkil from getting behind. Alfronso Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alanzo Pacheco to make the kick off. David Unzueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alanzo Pacheco in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, one of Zizurkil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Simon Soldado had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping James Ponce De Leon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 62nd minute, Murueta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benvide Lacorte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Xilo Carballeira kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. David Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alanzo Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zizurkil's Alanzo Pacheco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benvide Lacorte came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Unzueta could save by the left post. In the 73rd match minute, Murueta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcio Estrada to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Zizurkil's zone, Alfronso Marin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Soldado came out of the goal and Alfronso Marin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peli Marquez in the 83rd minute of play forced Zizurkil's goalkeeper Simon Soldado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Unzueta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benvide Lacorte went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Murueta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zizurkil's performance. The match ended with a win for Zizurkil.
