Damario Dagora took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofronio Ruiz. Sofronio Ruiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sofronio Ruiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damario Dagora, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Saturnino Urruti kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Isidro Dominguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofronio Ruiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Damario Dagora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofronio Ruiz having to interfere. Brais Prieto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Ferrer in the 18th minute. After 25 played minutes Guadalajara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Madariaga. After having played for 26 minutes, Isidro Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dénia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Dominguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dénia AFC's Abelardo Santalla got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Prudencio Sanz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dénia AFC's Brais Prieto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Guadalajara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Urruti. If Prudencio Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Prudencio Sanz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadalajara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Sanz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 played minutes Dénia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Santalla. Zeledon Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Ferrer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brais Prieto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Zeledon Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zeledon Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Guadalajara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pacorro Llorente. Dénia AFC's Dalmu Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Saturnino Urruti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Santalla kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Guadalajara AFC's Enetz Castelao broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Damario Dagora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sofronio Ruiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dénia AFC booed when Guadalajara AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Urruti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Dénia AFC's Damario Dagora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofronio Ruiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeledon Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Veremundo Saboya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zeledon Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prudencio Sanz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brais Prieto having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Ferrer in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brais Prieto saved Dénia AFC from getting behind. The Guadalajara AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dénia AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dénia AFC.
