Freddy Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Mendez having to interfere. When Baltasar Urruti fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Padres SAD's protests and gave Baltasar Urruti a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Padres SAD got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Urruti. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Freddy Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madanela De Montes AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ursino Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvino Patiño struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ursino Mendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madanela De Montes AD. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ursino Mendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltasar Urruti kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Freddy Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
