Xulio Roig struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ursino Mendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borox. Padres SAD's Ursino Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jokin Camaño in the 9th minute of play. Ursino Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firman Pareja in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firman Pareja in the 14th minute of play forced Padres SAD's goalkeeper Ursino Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borox's Gonza Canosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Solano in the 15th minute of play. Borox were furious when Cordarin Buenafuente was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Borox's Gonza Canosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Borox from getting a goal against them. Jokin Camaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes, Jokin Camaño made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Padres SAD's Ursino Mendez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jokin Camaño was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Borox's Iraitz Barroso to fire away a dangerous shot which Ursino Mendez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Jokin Camaño came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Borox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jokin Camaño couldn't finish the play. Basilio Moya hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Xoan Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padres SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xoan Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Padres SAD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sebastián Balboa hit a great ball. Ursino Mendez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iraitz Barroso. When Nacho Solano came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Padres SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nacho Solano couldn't finish the play. Padres SAD's Xoan Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jokin Camaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ursino Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Vidal Saboya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonza Canosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Baltasar Urruti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Padres SAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borox the free kick. A collision led to Padres SAD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Baltasar Urruti hit a great ball.
