Canovelles AFC's García Carmona got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Min Domenech was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Paulin Castan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulin Castan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 35th minute, Pascal Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If García Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Soldado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reynaldo Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulin Castan to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Llosa De Camacho AFC booed when Canovelles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meder Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Paulin Castan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Domenech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Canovelles AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santana Reina to maneuver through the defense. Canovelles AFC's Reynaldo Rojas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Canovelles AFC from getting a goal against them. Canovelles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulin Castan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Reynaldo Rojas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. García Carmona struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Min Domenech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canovelles AFC. Min Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulin Castan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
