Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mané Villafane made the kick off which started today's match. Tindaya's Brion Mangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Tindaya from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mero Solera in the 15th minute of play forced Tindaya's goalkeeper Brion Mangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Mané Villafane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Policarpio Zurica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brion Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mero Solera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brion Mangas. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. The supporters of Montgat booed when Tindaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rios Blazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brion Mangas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mero Solera's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Ubaldo Perez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brion Mangas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Montgat's Mero Solera got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Cesareo Mala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montgat and the Tindaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Montgat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesareo Mala to maneuver through the defense. Leon Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tindaya's Mané Villafane got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Veloso during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fulgencio Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48thth minute Feliu Dellasierra beautifully dribbled past Montgat's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Policarpio Zurica pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mero Solera was the one to do the kick off. After taking down the ball on Montgat's corner Frisco Irureta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brion Mangas quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Lesardo Guijarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montgat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tindaya the free kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montgat! If Mero Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mero Solera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Brion Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montgat's Mero Solera got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Policarpio Zurica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Aguilar in the 82nd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Xulian Casals managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tindaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xulian Casals was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tindaya's Leon Aguilar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Mané Villafane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Policarpio Zurica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Aguilar struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Policarpio Zurica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tindaya. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
