After a rather tough play, Sanet Y Negrals's Arxel Sampil got a free kick in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baudelio Alonso during the 9th minute. Máximo Cabrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaitano Gibert in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Negros's zone, Gaitano Gibert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Cabrera came out of the goal and Gaitano Gibert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ranolfo Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zumar Baños fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Negros's protests and gave Zumar Baños a yellow card for diving instead. Baudelio Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Gaitano Gibert took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Máximo Cabrera to make any attempt to save it. In the last second Máximo Cabrera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ranolfo Mata in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sanet Y Negrals's Gaitano Gibert got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Madeo Iniesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaitano Gibert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Cabrera having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efraín Alcaraz to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaitano Gibert struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Máximo Cabrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanet Y Negrals. Faustino Caminero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efraín Alcaraz in the 55th minute of the match. Gaitano Gibert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Cabrera having to interfere. The supporters of Negros booed when Sanet Y Negrals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Iniesta didn't get a good kick on the ball.
