Agustín Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ranolfo Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madeo Iniesta's late challenge caught a Moniesa UD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madeo Iniesta helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Sanet Y Negrals got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Iniesta. Agustín Vazquez came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanet Y Negrals's Ranolfo Mata. But to his dismay, Ranolfo Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Gaitano Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21stth minute of the game Gaitano Gibert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moniesa UD's Agustín Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaitano Gibert in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Vazquez saved Moniesa UD from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Moniesa UD got a freekick which was hit by Lope Menendez. 39 minutes into the match, Moniesa UD's goal looked a bit too open when Ranolfo Mata came free, but Agustín Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Sanet Y Negrals's Ranolfo Mata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Vazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Moniesa UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lope Menendez to maneuver through the defense. Sanet Y Negrals's Gaitano Gibert got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ranolfo Mata to make the kick off. Gaitano Gibert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Agustín Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ranolfo Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanet Y Negrals's supporters rose to their feet, but Ranolfo Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustín Vazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Moniesa UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maureo Valerón to maneuver through the defense. Lobo Gandia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agustín Vazquez. Moniesa UD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moniesa UD's zone, Ranolfo Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Vazquez came out of the goal and Ranolfo Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gaitano Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaitano Gibert was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ranolfo Mata in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Vazquez saved Moniesa UD from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Moniesa UD's Loreto Belalcaraz got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ranolfo Mata in the 82nd minute of play forced Moniesa UD's goalkeeper Agustín Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaitano Gibert took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Vazquez. Agustín Vazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gaitano Gibert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Agustín Vazquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Lobo Gandia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustín Vazquez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Sanet Y Negrals supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sanet Y Negrals would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
