Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xamo Nueva made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Moniesa UD's goal looked a bit too open when Baudelio Alonso came free, but Agustín Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Moniesa UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lope Menendez to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Efraín Alcaraz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moniesa UD's Agustín Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Máximo Cabrera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Loreto Belalcaraz. Xamo Nueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baudelio Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Vazquez having to interfere. Baudelio Alonso took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Vazquez. Agustín Vazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 44th minute Xamo Nueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Escobar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Negros's Matxin Ortiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Moniesa UD. After the first half Negros were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efraín Alcaraz to make the kick off. The supporters of Negros booed when Moniesa UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lope Menendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Efraín Alcaraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moniesa UD's Agustín Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraín Alcaraz in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Negros booed when Moniesa UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lope Menendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Baudelio Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Moniesa UD's goalkeeper Agustín Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efraín Alcaraz. Agustín Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraín Alcaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Agustín Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraín Alcaraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Moniesa UD's goal looked a bit too open when Efraín Alcaraz came free, but Agustín Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Vazquez made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Baudelio Alonso sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Moniesa UD's zone, Baudelio Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Vazquez came out of the goal and Baudelio Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Geofredo Balcells hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
