The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Boqueres's goalkeeper Carlos Lorenzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antolin Garrido. 6 minutes into the game, Nestor Gala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boqueres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonaval the free kick. Calisto Caminero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berenguer Salgado in the 10th minute of play. Chus Companys took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Calisto Caminero. Bonaval's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th minute, Pancracio Huarte made a precise shot to the right of Calisto Caminero. Bonaval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancracio Huarte in the 23rd minute of play forced Bonaval's goalkeeper Calisto Caminero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calisto Caminero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Boqueres were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Alabern to make the kick off. When Lucas Alabern came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bonaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Alabern couldn't finish the play. Calisto Caminero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berenguer Salgado in the 55th minute. Antolin Garrido struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Carlos Lorenzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonaval. In the 60th minute, Lucas Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Eneto Caballero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eneto Caballero's late challenge caught a Boqueres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eneto Caballero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Eneto Caballero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bonaval booed when Boqueres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Lorenzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Alabern's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The Boqueres players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
