After having played for 14 minutes, Andrei Zapatero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuente Librilla CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Zapatero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuente Librilla CD's goalkeeper Zuberoa Colillas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Fuente Librilla CD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dario Echeto hit a great ball. Xepe Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Flores in the 23rd minute of play. When Andrei Zapatero came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fuente Librilla CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Zapatero couldn't finish the play. Gaskon Munoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Benito Echavarri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fuente Librilla CD's Zuberoa Colillas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Fuente Librilla CD's goalkeeper Zuberoa Colillas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaskon Munoz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Marcos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eriberto Marcos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Andrei Zapatero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garikoitz Pantoja hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Echavarri to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ariel Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xepe Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telesforo Veloso in the 63rd minute of play. Palamós AFC's Benito Echavarri got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Echavarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute of the match, Ariel Flores tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xepe Salgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Cesareo Valcarcel fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palamós AFC's protests and gave Cesareo Valcarcel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fuente Librilla CD booed when Palamós AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesareo Valcarcel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Jacques Ortiz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telesforo Veloso during the 84th minute.
