The Arratzain FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chano Rico should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Herodes Pedraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chano Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitin Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Arturo Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lico Roig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pancracio Campos in the 27th minute. Bartolo Carballeira kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Pitin Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pardinilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Pitin Amer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chano Rico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pancracio Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lico Roig having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Colsa to make the kick off. Chano Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pitin Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pardinilla! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Arratzain FC. Herodes Pedraza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lico Roig. 1-2. Lico Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancracio Campos in the 73rd minute of play. Arratzain FC's Pancracio Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Arratzain FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pardinilla's performance. The match ended with a win for Pardinilla.
