A collision led to Frontones getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dominic Batuecas hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes, Caspueñas's Quin Lama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delmiro Segarra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caspueñas reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Caspueñas's zone, Egoitz Vives stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Campomanes came out of the goal and Egoitz Vives tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Campomanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Goyo Costa went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Gorri Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Segarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quique Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Delmiro Segarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quique Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Segarra having to make a save. Gorri Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quique Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Caspueñas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quique Navarro couldn't finish the play. If Egoitz Vives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Egoitz Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Campomanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Segarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorri Paredes in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Quique Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmiro Segarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Amado Campomanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frontones's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
