Carlitos Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernal Pardo in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Vallado CF's Bernal Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlitos Maroto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlitos Maroto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Eusebio Nafría came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Barbeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Nafría couldn't finish the play. Aurre Arribas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Carlitos Maroto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallado CF. After 37 minutes, Hori Contreras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallado CF and the Barbeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes, Barbeira's Amancio Iniesta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosu Vila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barbeira reached it. If Eusebio Nafría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurre Arribas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiburcio Santalla took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosu Vila. Iosu Vila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 62nd minute Tiburcio Santalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosu Vila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Santalla hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The long shot by Silvano Montes in the 69th minute really tested Carlitos Maroto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 80th match minute, Vallado CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turi Jareño to maneuver through the defense. Aurre Arribas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Barbeira's goal looked a bit too open when Aurre Arribas came free, but Carlitos Maroto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernal Pardo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 88th playminute. In the 92nd minute, Bernal Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernal Pardo in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlitos Maroto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vallado CF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
