The referee showed Aurre Arribas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernal Pardo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cristos Balcells didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallado CF. After 32 played minutes, Vallado CF's Albi Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristos Balcells came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vallado CF reached it. 33 minutes into the game, one of Castro De Rei SD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Cristos Balcells, was totally fooled by Vallado CF's Arnulfo Campomanes, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Felipillo Canal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cutberto Barba charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cutberto Barba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Castro De Rei SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cutberto Barba to maneuver through the defense. Aurre Arribas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Felipillo Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes, Castro De Rei SD's Nesto Calderon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosu Vila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castro De Rei SD reached it. Felipillo Canal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosu Vila having to interfere. Iosu Vila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipillo Canal in the 58th minute. If Cai Vallejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Castro De Rei SD's Cai Vallejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosu Vila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 73 minutes, Turi Jareño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallado CF and the Castro De Rei SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipillo Canal got free with Iosu Vila in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristos Balcells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turi Jareño in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Aurre Arribas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vallado CF's zone, Cai Vallejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosu Vila came out of the goal and Cai Vallejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bernal Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Vallado CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernal Pardo couldn't finish the play. Bernal Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
