Pedro Vacas kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Perpiñán in the 8th minute of play forced Capileira UD's goalkeeper Guaberto Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Jordi Salgado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guaberto Contreras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When David Perpiñán came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Prades fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Perpiñán couldn't finish the play. If Cosme Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfrido Mendez having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Cosme Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigfrido Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prades's Sigfrido Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Roig in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Pujol in the 29th minute of play forced Prades's goalkeeper Sigfrido Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when David Perpiñán made the kick off in the second half. Cosme Pujol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sigfrido Mendez firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Capileira UD's Marcelo Roig, in the 54th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Capileira UD. After a defensive mix-up in Capileira UD's zone, David Perpiñán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Contreras came out of the goal and David Perpiñán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cosme Pujol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capileira UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Pujol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigfrido Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edorta Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Salgado in the 69th minute of play. David Perpiñán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Guaberto Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Roig was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Capileira UD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lico Cazorla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcelo Roig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Cosme Pujol made a precise shot to the right of Sigfrido Mendez. Prades's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Roig in the 93rd minute of play forced Prades's goalkeeper Sigfrido Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Cosme Pujol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
