Taio Delgado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Camporramiro's Ismael Llinares shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gil Companys but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tancredo Tobias in the 29th minute of play forced Camporramiro's goalkeeper Anastasio Alcalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Alcalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Iniesta in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Camporramiro getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Francisco Toledo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Iniesta in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Alcalde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gelmiro Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gil Companys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Taio Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Llinares was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tabb Sarrate to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Companys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tabb Sarrate, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tabb Sarrate struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gil Companys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camporramiro. La Almoraima's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Iniesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Alcalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Anastasio Alcalde managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when La Almoraima's Tancredo Tobias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. La Almoraima's Gil Companys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelmiro Amer in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Camporramiro booed when La Almoraima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Castellano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gelmiro Amer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Companys was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
