The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bastian Bergada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roldán De la Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Raphael Sevilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Sevilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugutz Urruti in the 12th minute of play forced Palmones's goalkeeper Millano Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venta Del Olivo's Frederick De Pedro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ugutz Urruti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Millano Macho having to interfere. Millano Macho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ugutz Urruti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andoitz Jareño kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Palmones's Raphael Sevilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bastian Bergada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ugutz Urruti in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Millano Macho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bastian Bergada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roldán De la Rosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. If Zunbeltz Abellan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ugutz Urruti made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Palmones's goal looked a bit too open when Ugutz Urruti came free, but Millano Macho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ugutz Urruti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Zunbeltz Abellan made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palmones's Millano Macho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th play minute Zunbeltz Abellan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Millano Macho. 2-3. 72 minutes into the match, Palmones's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick De Pedro came free, but Millano Macho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zunbeltz Abellan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Millano Macho made a huge save. Palmones's Millano Macho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Palmones from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, Palmones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andoitz Jareño to maneuver through the defense. Millano Macho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Urruti in the 85th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Andoitz Jareño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venta Del Olivo the free kick. Palmones's Millano Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugutz Urruti in the 97th minute of play. Venta Del Olivo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
